Port Hope Conversion Facility (PHCF) and Fuel Manufacturing (CFM)

We are very pleased to announce that the Technical Tours offered in conjunction with the World Nuclear Fuel Cycle 2017 conference will be at the Port Hope Conversion Facility (PHCF) and Fuel Manufacturing (CFM).

Below is an overview of the tour programme (timings subject to change):

07:00 Board the bus
07:15 Depart hotel
09:00 Arrive at Port Hope Conversion Facility
Welcome briefing and refreshments
10:00 Tour of PHCF – UF6 conversion plant
11:00-11:30 Security check and transport to CFM
11:45-12:30 Tour of CFM – fuel bundle manufacturing
12:45 Depart CFM – lunch on the bus

13:15 Arrive at Darlington Information Centre
13:30 OPG Darlington Station Overview,Refurbishment Update and refreshments
14:15 Mock-up Viewing
Site Bus Tour
15:15 Depart OPG
17:15 Arrive at hotel


· WWhen registering please make sure the registration details are the same as your passport or driving license which you will need to bring with you for ID on the technical tour

· TThe facilities will provide safety hats and shoes

· AlAll participants must wear long trousers

· AlAll participants must wear flat closed shoes

· MMobile phones will need to be left on the coach or security may confiscate or sticker the screen as no photos allowed

· PlPease leave cigarette lighters on the coach
