TECHNICAL TOURS

TOUR ONE: AUDI Ingolstadt

09:00 Participants will be collected from the Westin Grand Munich Hotel and taken by coach to the AUDI Forum (approximately 1.5 hours from Munich). On arrival, participants will be divided into sub-groups and experience the entire production process of an Audi up close; including the fascinating ballet performed by welding robots.

13:15 After the first tour, there will be a one hour break for lunch in the AUDI Marktrestaurant for which all delegates will receive a voucher*.

14:15 (approximately) After lunch, participants will meet at agreed meeting points and will continue with a 1 hour tour of the "museum mobile", a journey through time which will acquaint participants with the impressive history of the AUDI brand.

14:15 For those who wish to depart for Munich airport, there will be a direct coach leaving after lunch (transfer time approximately 1.5 hours, depending on traffic). To reserve a seat on this coach you must advise Julia Deere.

We are not able to guarantee a seat without a reservation.

17:00 (approximately) Arrival at the Westin Grand Munich Hotel (depending on traffic).

TOUR TWO: E-ON Kernkraft Isar Power Plant

You must email Julia Deere with the following information to take part in the tour:
· Date of birth
· Passport number

All delegates must bring their passport on the day to gain access to the premises.

08:45 Participants will be collected from the Westin Grand Munich Hotel and taken by coach to the Isar Power Plant.

10:30 Welcome and introduction to the site.

11:00 Visit to the turbine hall NPP 2.

12:30 Bavarian lunch.

13:00 Presentation and discussion by the plant manager, Dr. Fischer.

14:45 Return coach departs.

15:30 Drop off at Munich airport.

16:45 Arrival at the Westin Grand Munich Hotel (depending on traffic).
